ഇന്ത്യയുടെ രണ്ടാം ചാന്ദ്ര ദൗത്യമായ ചന്ദ്രയാൻ 2 വിക്ഷേപണം വിജയകരമായതോടെ ഐഎസ്ആർഒ ക്ക് അഭിനന്ദന പ്രവാഹം. ചന്ദ്രയാൻ 2 വിക്ഷേപണ വിജയം ഇന്ത്യയുടെ അഭിമാന നിമിഷമാണെന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്രമോദി പ്രതികരിച്ചു. ട്വിറ്ററിലായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പ്രതികരണം.
ഒരോ ഇന്ത്യക്കാരനും അഭിമാനിക്കുന്ന നേട്ടമാണ് ചന്ദ്രയാന് കൈവരിച്ചത്. ചാന്ദ്ര പര്യവേഷണത്തിൽ വലിയ നാഴിക കല്ലാവുന്ന ചന്ദ്രയാൻ പുതു തലമുറയ്ക്ക് മുന്നിൽ പുത്തൻ അറിവുകൾ തുറന്ന് നൽകുമെന്നും കുറിപ്പിൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു.
രാഷ്ട്രപതി രാംനാഥ് കോവിന്ദും ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞരെ അഭിനന്ദിച്ച് രംഗത്തെത്തി. രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ചരിത്ര മുഹൂർത്തമാണ് ചന്ദ്രയാൻ വിക്ഷേപണ വിജയമെന്ന് രാഷ്ട്രപതി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞരെയും എഞ്ചിനീയർമാരെയും അഭിനന്ദിക്കുന്നെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

ശ്രീഹരിക്കോട്ടയിലെ സതീഷ് ധവാൻ സ്പെയ്സ് സെന്ററിൽ നിന്ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 2.43 ന് മുൻ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പ്രകാരം തന്നെ ചന്ദ്രയാൻ 2 മായി ജിഎസ്എൽവിയുടെ മാർക്ക് 3 /എം1 റോക്കറ്റ് കുതിച്ചുയർന്നത്. സാങ്കേതിക തകരാറുമുലം കഴിഞ്ഞ 15ാം തിയ്യതിയിൽ നിന്നും മാറ്റിവച്ച് വിക്ഷേപണമാണ് എല്ലാ തകരാറുകളും പരിഹരിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് വിക്ഷേപിച്ചത്.

ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞർക്കും പ്രമുഖർക്കും പുറമെ 7500–ഓളം പേർ ചരിത്ര ദൗത്യത്തിന് സാക്ഷിയാവാൻ ശ്രീഹരിക്കോട്ടയിലെ സതീഷ് ധവാൻ സ്പെയ്സ് സെന്ററിൽ എത്തിയിരുന്നു. വിദേശ മാധ്യമങ്ങളുടെ പ്രതിനിധികകളടെ വൻ സംഘം എത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. നേരിയ മഴ രാവിലെ മുതൽ തുടരുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും അതു വിക്ഷേപണത്തെ ബാധിക്കില്ലെന്ന് ഐഎസ്ആർഒ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു. ജൂലൈ 15ന്പുലർച്ചെ 2 മണിയോടെയായിരുന്നു നേരത്തേ വിക്ഷേപണം നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരുന്നത്. അതിനാൽത്തന്നെ തിരക്കും കുറവായിരുന്നു.

എന്നാൽ, നേരത്തെ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചതു പോലെ 48 ദിവസത്തിനകം സെപ്റ്റംബർ ഏഴിനു തന്നെ ചന്ദ്രയാനിലെ വിക്രം ലാൻഡർ ചന്ദ്രനിലിറങ്ങുമെന്നാണ് ഐഎസ്ആർഒ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. 3877 കിലോയാണ് ചന്ദ്രയാൻ 2 പേടകത്തിന്റെ പൂർണഭാരം. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ഐഎസ്ആർഒയുടെ ഏറ്റവും കരുത്തുറ്റ റോക്കറ്റായ ജിഎസ്എൽവി മാർക് 3 M1 ആണ് (ബാഹുബലി എന്നു വിളിപ്പേര്) ഏകദേശം 14 നിലക്കെട്ടിടത്തിന്റെ ഉയരം– 43.43 മീറ്റർ. ഭാരമാകട്ടെ 5.81 ലക്ഷം കിലോഗ്രാമും (640 ടൺ).
